Aviation Fueling Services Norway AS (AFSN) is a Norwegian company registered in the Brønnøysund Register Center with organization number NO 914 948 681.

2. Why do we process personal data?

3. What personal data do we process?

We process the personal information you provide to us or have provided, or that we have collected on our website through cookies. This is to manage your customer relationship or to fulfil our obligations to you as a customer. The personal data processed by AFSN includes, among other things, your VAT number and/or personal number (if provided), your name and/or company name, date of birth (if provided), email address, IP address, and phone number.

4. Legal basis for the processing of personal data

In certain situations, we will request your consent to process your personal data, providing a legal basis under Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). The legal basis for processing personal data can also be found in Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR, where processing is necessary to execute a contract with you or for pre-contractual inquiries. Authorization may also be found in Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR (balancing of interests). The purpose of this is described in section 2 above.

5. Recipients and transfer of your personal data

The use of your personal data may involve processing of data along with data in other contexts within and outside the EU and EEA. This means that your personal data is transferred to and processed by other companies within the Shell group for the purposes described above in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Information may also be processed with data from or shared with authorities or partners, such as third-party payment or credit card service providers. AFSN is always extremely careful with such usage.

AFSN may transfer your personal data abroad, including to non-EU/EEA countries. Such transfers will only occur when there is adequate legal basis. Transfers abroad will normally be based on agreements using EU Model Clauses. If all or parts of AFSN’s business activities are sold to or integrated with another business, your personal data will be disclosed to our advisors and to the new business owner.

6. How do we protect your personal data?

To protect your personal data, we have implemented several security measures. We have implemented security procedures as well as technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. This can include certification procedures for browsers. In addition, we have adequate firewalls and antivirus programs to protect against and prevent unauthorized access to the network. Physical access to locations where information is stored is limited, and identified access is required. We ensure that only our employees who absolutely need access to your personal data will have such access.

7. How long will AFSN retain personal data?

Your personal data will not be stored longer than necessary for the purposes mentioned in section 2. As a general rule, your personal data is deleted when you are no longer a registered customer with AFSN. You should be able to opt-out of being a customer at any time.
