AFSN’s legacy in Norway spans over 70 years, beginning with the establishment of Shell’s downstream business in the country. Over the decades, Shell Aviation has played an integral role in supporting the Norwegian aviation industry, operating at more than 16 airports across the country. In 2015, the creation of AFSN as a joint venture between Shell and St1 marked an important chapter in this history. The partnership brought together Shell’s deep expertise in aviation fuels and St1’s extensive downstream infrastructure in the region. Today, AFSN continues to build on its long-standing tradition of delivering premium aviation fuel, maintaining a strong presence across Norway’s airports and contributing to the growth and efficiency of the aviation sector.
